I didn't feel safe. There were 2 police cars in the parking lot all afternoon and they apprehended 2 residents. This hotel appears to also be shelter.

Very poor, unsafe for a mom with two daughters. Check in closed had to make several phone calls to find someone. The room was smoked in, the windows were open when we walked in the room but the odor was very present. Smoking at the entrance of the hotel literally where it states no smoking they were leaning on the posts. A very lower class hotel I realize that these places are needed but it should be more transparent or honest to travelers not a safe hotel for women traveling alone.

This hotel is the worst I’ve stayed in years. The sheets had someone else’s hair on them even though the bed was made. They obviously just made the beds to make it look like it had been cleaned but did not wash the bedding. There is not a single coffee pot in the entire building so literally bring your own coffee pot or go without until you leave. I was looking for an inexpensive version of a Residence Inn to try to save money on this trip by utilizing the kitchenette and preparing dinners during my stay. However, the kitchenette is NOT stocked (no pans, no dishes, no silverware, dish soap, etc.). Not for me Could not get into my room even though had been told in advance I could use the lobby phone if arriving after midnight. 3 other parties also in lobby after midnight having been told same thing - to use lobby phone to get checked in after hours. No answer when used cell to call local location either. Assistant manager did provide a refund today as I did, after waiting 30+ minutes, give up and left to find another room. Also, I did not feel safe there as a woman traveling alone.
