The hallways were loud, and dirty. There was virtually no lobby. Breakfast was a reduced size granola bar and instant decaf coffee.

RUDE STAFF! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! SCAMMERS! This hotel has made false allegations against me after my recent stay here. The manager (don't remember his name but he was some bald headed Indian dude) reported that my room smelled heavily of smoke and incurred a $250 fee, which is more than double the cost of my stay. No smoking took place here (I have never smoked a day in my life). Furthermore, the hotel manager, and corporate staff made no attempt to correct this mistake. Location! Location is convenient but the room and internet connection are so terrible. There are some restaurants and 7-Eleven in walking distance. However, the quality is not a hotel to pay more than $200!!

A lousy stay nowadays... The first room that we were put in, was not cleaned up after previous guest. We were put in another room and it faced the street, which was very noisy. The free breakfast which Extended Stay website didn’t list details about, was only coffee, tea, small muffins and granola bars. They had free Wi-fi which was lousy and we kept losing the connection to. A long time customer of Expedia for the great service extended at all times. I had a really bad experience with my stay at Extended Stay America San Jose - Downtown. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. We arrived around 10:00 pm and the check in was OK. One of the room allotted had a bad musty smell. The wardrobe was the missing the door as well as hangers. The bathroom was not clean, the wifi was terrible, the breakfast was poor and no one cleaned the room for three days.

Not worth the money I was pretty disappointed when I opened the cabinets in the kitchette that nothing was there. Apparently I was to order my kitchen tools? Also the bathroom was either stained or damaged in areas. Tv signal was not consistent either.
