room was disappointing, just barely cleaned, breakfast was very minimal

Positive: checking in early. Negative: entire room and bathroom smelled pretty bad.

The first thing you noticed when entering the room was the smell. Not in a good way. It was like the previous person in the room cooked a lot of fish. It was almost to the point of gagging while just trying to breathe, the bathtub/shower took all day to drain, by the time you were done with your shower. You were past your ankles in standing water in the bottom of the tub. The microwave was broken and wouldn’t spin, didn’t heat anything up correctly. Worst customer service experience ever. They did not allow me to stay and they tried to double charge me.

The kitchenette had no cooking and eating utensils, unlike every other hotel kitchenette in North America. The bathtub had not been cleaned/sanitized, which is unbelievable during the pandemic. The manager had a large aggressive dog that barked and growled, and jumped up with its front paws onto the front counter, lunging at me when I checked in. Unbelievable!
