It was a good place to stay . It has a kitchen and a nice comfortable bed. But the shower hot water was broken and since it was the weekend they couldn’t fi it until Monday that I left. But the General Manager Charlotte took care of the issue . She is very professional and an asset to the hotel. Kudos to Charlotte and thank you.
Dog friendly not people friendly Hard to contact front desk, even when you go up there usually not a person available. The ones we did find were friendly and helpful. The dog area was super convenient. Room had funky smell.

Thankyou. Due to a flight and a long drive from ORD, I arrived at the Carmel ESA around 3:40 AM. There was a phone at the door, so I picked it up and dialed 1 for check-in service. It was a pleasant experience—the ESA service lady came out and opened the door to assist with my check-in. Thank you, ESA!
The bed was comfortable but the room was full of pet hair. Luckily I’ve grown out of my animal hair allergies. There were no bathroom essentials such as an hair dryer or shampoo and conditioner. Thank God there was a bar of soap.
