The front office is not 24/7. You cannot check in and out as needed. There are suspect characters in and around the hotel. Seems to be running like a halfway house. Definitely, not safe for a woman and child staying alone. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

I am sorry that you didn't feel safe. We take our guest and employee safety very seriously. We do have staff available 24/7 for guest issues and check-in. Being an Extended Stay Hotel we operate a little differently than a traditional stay hotel.
I've stayed there twice. The neighborhood is ok. Room was recently remodeled and clean. Mattress was about as cheap as it gets. Sound insulation is terrible. I could hear the person above me thumping around all through the night. Fewer amenities than your typical two star joint: a refrigerator, towels, one bar of soap, two plastic cups, and nothing else.

NEED TO BE RECOMPENSATED SOMEHOW. THIS IS NOT OKAY To be honest, the staff at the hotel was absolutely rude and horrible. They closed the front desk 70% OF THE TIME. They never gave us extra towels FOR THE WHOLE WEEK because they kept saying they were unavailable. The pillows were stained and had NO PILLOW CASES and when i asked for new ones with cases they looked at me weird and it took them hours to provide them. Nightmare in Phoenix The pictures of this hotel look exactly like what you arrive to which is what is so surprising. Upon arrival there was nobody at the front desk, the was a locked metal roll down door and instructions to dial “500” to check in on the phone on the wall. While we waited for the desk person a person entered with his bicycle into the small area and let us know it might take up to 15 minutes for someone to come down. Dear Michelle... Being an Extended Stay facility we do not operate with a 24 hour desk. Instructions should have been provided on the hotels.com itinerary and their website to call ahead if arriving outside of normal desk hours. Additional as you mentioned that their is a courtesy phone in the lobby explaining how to contact the on call agent to assist with check-in. Never again!!! This place sucked!! This is one of the worst hotels ever!!! We got it because it had a small kitchen with stove and fridge. When we arrived we learned it had absolutely no dishes or utensils and they wanted 30 bucks for a pan 2 plates and silverware! We were given 1 bar of soap total!!’ For both hand washing and bathing. Nobody is in the office to check in after hours, we waited about one hour and there was another person waiting already for 20 minutes as she told us. When the man opened the office and started checking in this other person, he was charging her a double amount than she had booked for. Incredible mean and did not show any respect to customers.

NO Everything You Want NO SMOKING rooms. Advertised and bookable smoking rooms w the online services. Usually a dozen people drinking and smoking outback. All stated they choose this property because of the advertised smoking rooms and we're partying where they could fire up. NO COFFEE on the property whatsoever. We got a room that the dead bolt did not work on. We had to go to another hotel that could accommodate our needs. The room was a no smoking room and it smelled like cigarette smoke.. The staff was not friendly at all. It was like they were doing me a favor for staying there. Terrible experience.
