The room was not very clean the tv remote just short of discusting. I was afraid to touch it.The shower head sprayed sideways onto the floor. Ever time that I went back to the room I had to go to the office to get the room key fixed. The outer door on the south end of the building did not lock anyone could just walk in. If I was to give a star rating it would be a 1 star at best

Bed did not have a flat sheet on it had to call and get one when the person brought it up it was all bundled up not even folded I helped put it on the bed

The Extended Stay America Springfield was very basic. They don't even provide ice for their guests. I asked the desk clerk about the ice and he just gave me a blank stare and did not respond. (Someone there needs some customer service training). The room has a small kitchenette, but all the cabinets and drawers were empty, so bring all your own plates, cookware, etc. The bed was not comfortable and we woke up with sore backs in the morning. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! We had a paid for a king suite but when we showed up their computer system was down, the front desk person never asked what room we had paid for just set us up in the smallest cheapest room which was a single double bed. Half the TV stations didn't come in when complained they made no effort to move us, comp us or even refund any portion of our stay. Dirty dirty and dirty I normally do not leave reviews, even if I have a bad experience I understand everyone has an off day. However I booked in here for work and was given a room, I went to the room and there was wet towels on the floor the bed wasn't made and the TV was on. I went down to let the front desk know and was treated like an inconvenience. 2nd try.....towels on the floor unmade bed and the room was trashed. Again treated like an inconvenience, 3rd try...... Will not stay here again The bed was has hard as a rock, the pillows were too small for a king size bed and very uncomfortable. We were given 2 bath towels and one wash cloth for 2 people. The barhroom is extremely small and they did not supply a hair dryer, like every hotel ove I've stayed in and no hand soap.
