The check in process took forever and the person checking us in kept complaining how busy it was. When we first talked into the rooms they seemed clean but that not the case. The beds, sheets and pillows were DISGUSTING! Filthy sheets with body fluids, stains and holes. By the time we got to our rooms the front desk had closed it was just after 10pm. Horrible Hotel Had 2 reservations booked, they said first one was cancelled. Went back next day, room was dirty, pillow horrible condition. Asked manager to have new pillow, she said did not have any. Was very rude, did not apologize for condition of room, made excuses. Started arguing, said we could have money back and we left! I believe first room being cancelled was Hotels.com fault!

No frills stay with nice front desk people Graduation week at Univ of Alabama and most of the hotels were booked a year in advance. Left with Woodspring -- we wanted cheap -- but you get what you pay for. Beds very uncomfortable. My back is still aching. Front desk is very nice and helpful, but not there 24 hours a day -- opens at 8am -- no breakfast, must request hair dryer, shampoo, iron, etc. -- very minimal. During our stay, did see a small cockroach in our room twice.

No night clerk. We arrived at 11 pm and night clerk leaves at 8 pm. After 10 minutes on hold, finally reached someone who could call someone to come check us in, but “it might take up to 30 minutes for them to arrive”. We left and paid for another hotel room somewhere else. We called Hotels.com and they requested a refund per our request. The hotel company has not responded to that request. Nasty We found bed bugs in the beds, hair all over the place and the girls that checked out in front of us said they found roaches.

Not clean!! Check in was easy and quick. The room was not clean. We felt gross our entire stay. Had it not been late at check in and having to be up early, we would have left and went somewhere else. There were hairs in the bed, dirt on the sheets, stains on the comforter, sticky residue on the chairs (just needed to be wiped down), and funk left all in the kitchen area. Upon arriving, put into a smoking room, despite request for non smoking. Stained comforters, dirty sheets w hairs, non working phone, heater broken, no hair dryer, no maid service at all (same 2 towels for 3 days). Roaches!!! Killed a dozen bugs. Hotel guests were very shady, domestic disturbance down the hall. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Will never return.
