The non-smoking room had a thick stench of cigarette smoke. A loud mechanical noise began and continued for hours the first night of our stay until the fire dept. was called and the water to the entire building was turned off. There was no maintenance staff on duty or on call, according to the only staff member. There was still no water the next morning and no attempt was being made to fix the problem. staff is very nice
The smoke detector was beeping and there was no one on the premises who could fix it. I, a 76 year man, had to climb up on the bed to figure out how to unplug it. In addition, our toilet wouldn’t flush and again there was no one to handle the problem. I had to work with a plunger for almost two hours to get it working. Although this one was one of the better Extended Stay I did stay at still all of them including this one have an unpleasant and weird smell in the rooms, hallways etc. All furniture surfaces feel sticky. No ice machine in the entire place. Although place doesn’t allow pets I could hear barking next door plus dogs sheds visible on the hallways carpets. No more Extended Stay for me :/
