If I could give 0 stars, I would. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke, the floor was filthy - I put on brand new slipper socks and the entire bottom of my socks were black! There were holes in the wall, rust all over refrigerator, rips in the bedding, mold in the bathroom, and, mostly, the mattress was awful! It was very used, lumpy everywhere and when I sat on it, it was only an inch high!!! There was no coffee maker, no utensils, no tissue, no dish soap, no ice, only 2 towels, no washcloth. Was quoted one price but at check in it was significantly more. The pull out sofa broke in the middle of the night held by zip ties. There were never clean towels to exchange had to leave at front desk and wait couple hours for new ones. Kitchen adverts say its fully stocked but wasn't had to ask for each item. No chairs for dining asked twice never had them available. The Tacoma South is extremely run down and very evident no money is put into it. The carpets were not clean. There were people smoking around every entrance area, vomiting outside the door, and the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Pillows were old and mattress sloped significantly

The location nice, check in easy, but the place needs some maintenance, the bathroom flooring coming up, and bar of towel rack kept coming off. When my sister ran a washing over shower area, the rag was black! The kitchen area and nightstands we cleaned ourselves because it was dirty. The room smelled musty and of mildew. Extended Stay had high quality at one time, but it appears to have gone way down. It's cheap enough, so since we don't spend much time in room, it was tolerable.

The rooms are not kept up great. Ive been to other extended stays and they usually dont have a hole in the wall and a creak in the floor and they usually have more than one thing of toilet paper. The phone didnt work on my room either. The kitchen ammonites I did not have access too . The first room I got had no working ac , the tub was broken inside on the floor. And there were holes in the wall. And I only had one pillow on my bed. No housekeeping came either once as my bed was always never made , and there were no toilet ... read more

Do not stay here. Don't be fooled by the location. This shack can't be up to code IN ANY AREA! Roaches Roaches Roaches. The maintenance gets a 1 due to the things actually working, like toilet flushing, running water. One of the toilets are as wiggly as a 1st graders tooth. Rm.225. The smell in this room was unbearable. (Wet carpet under AC.) Rooms smells bad , pillows are cheap made my neck hurt from no support and alarm smoke kept beeping all night! Will not be coming back at all

Staff was great, facilities are terrible. Room smelled like smoke, was there for a month and it wasnt cleaned once, despite what the website policy says. Sink leaked all over the floor, they had put a pouch over the pipe to collect water but that overflowed anytime I used the sink. They were out of toilet paper for three days. Elevators been broken for months. Super helpful, friendly staff but terrible upkeep.
