Not clean at all

For he price I paid in the Shelton area, one would expect a clean safe environment for my family. It was not clean, inside or outside the room. The hallways were dirty, the grounds were dirty, people were living there permanently and made it feel uncomfortable. The room floor was sticky, it smelled terrible inside and outside of the room, smoke in hallways, people smoking outside the entrances. It felt unsafe! I have been coming here for several years and have never had a problem. I dislike doing reviews, but did one when I was here last month. Five stars and no problems. I guess I should not have submitted that review because this time I was not happy. The check-in process was HORRIBLE!!!! There was no one at the check-in desk, only a sign that said they would be back SHORTLY. I just thought they were probably taking a restroom break. FIVE MINUTES went by, and still no one. Dogs were barking in rooms all night. Facility smelled musty and hints of cigarette smoke. Did not feel safe walking around hotel at night.

The people didn't answer the phone. They wouldn't connect me to my relative's room.
