This property was NOT at all as described. There was no breakfast as stated there would be. They had people living in the stairwells. We came out to a staff member "cleaning" put someone from their room who'd used this hotel as someplace to live, by throwing stuff out the door. It was on the third floor, so it fell on everyone including our car and my five year old. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Not good for family Hotel has a lot of cobwebs. Families should be separated from other guest who check in to party.

It was a good distance from the business of the downtown area which was nice. However it wasn’t the cleanest-there was a bunch of sand in the shower when we checked in and stains on the towels and blinds. The free breakfast was packets of oatmeal and granola bars, which was disappointing. But we only stayed one night so it was fine and they were dog friendly which was awesome.

When we got there it wasn’t clean, our sink had like an orange stain on it the floor wasn’t sweeped and our room looked nothing like the photos show. When we showed up there were 2 police cars and animal control there. And as we stayed through the week 2 more police cars showed up.

We were given a room with 2 twin beds for 3 people. Booked a room with 2 double beds non smoking. The front desk guy blamed Expedia for the booking change. I contact an Expedia rep and they sent mean email of my booking which was for 2 double beds non smoking. Room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes, cigarette burns on the thin counterpane. Big black ants. Manager was accommodating and refunded the rest of our stay, quickly as if this happens a lot.
Mrs. Pamela Trull We arrived late to the hotel and checked in. We were told our room was on the second floor. The problem arose when we looked for the elevator to get to the second floor. They DID NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR. I could not climb stairs with a bad ankle or carry suitcases up the flight of stairs. I also had a 2yo old and 4yo with me who were sound asleep. Rathole hotel Wasn’t expecting this kind of hotel in Virginia Beach, the hotel is very dirty run down inside and out! Avoid this hotel if you want to have a good vacation. A welfare hotel at best. I drove from New Jersey to Virginia Beach for the weekend got there at 5pm 6hr drive.
