From the road this property looks nice, but don’t let that fool you. There is no coffee maker in the room, no ice machine for use, the linens were ripped and poorly kept. The bathroom was clean but in poor condition and not maintained. You could hear the noise of those around you very well, the room was cold despite having the heater turned up to 80. Likely attributed to being able to see the outdoors from the gap around the door. In good news there’s a McDonald’s on the corner and a Starbucks 5 minutes away.

Shady guest Had to leave first night after a run in with a quest there. I had peered in to a room that had door open with music playing, when a man jumped up and asked what the problem was. As I tried to reply I found myself on the defensive and noticing the man was on something. even after apologizing he pressed the issue seeming to look for a fight. He then passed my room several times as this hotel has doors open to outside porches. Shaken I had to leave. Management gave full refund though it took about 5 phone calls.

Disappointing I've stayed at a few Extended Stay hotels in the past. This did not compare at all to what I was expecting. This is basically an old traditional motel with attempted upgrades. The 'kitchen' had zero dishes or utensils, but otherwise, the room was clean. The concrete stairwell leading to the 3rd floor had treads that had been replaced with thicker-than-normal versions which made the rise of each step unpredictable. Our original room smelled like cigarettes so we requested another one which was much better. However the stairs smelled like pissed I don’t know if it was because they allowed dogs there or people just were gross. I will not stay there next time I visit Virginia Beach.
