very disappointing location of the hotel was in a industrial park. while checking in three dogs ran down the hallway and my wife is allergic to dogs so she started to break out. we walked into the room and turned around and checked out and got another place to stay for our Anniversary. The hotel is nothing like the pictures. we are still trying to get a refund. Every time we call the General Manager she is out or she just stepped out. We will not stay at another Extended stay America

Not first choice next time The stay was mostly satisfactory. The property is very heavily used, and the room had marks of that (e.g., chipped bathtub, absence of remote control for television). Despite not cooking in the room, when I returned the first night after a late meeting (around 10 p.m.)a cockroach was on the counter.

1st room was a mess, 2nd occupied, 3rd smoking I stayed in this nasty smoking room, as the hotel was fully booked & fees were non refundable. I will never go the this or any Extended Stay America again.

will never stay there again I frequent extended stay and the metropolitan area frequently however this particular extended stay in Richmond was the worst one I've ever been in the rooms were horrible the condition was bad and they were not clean had a smell

I had an emergency need to stay.....so it was late when I checked in. I was tired, and cold. I had to stand outside for 10 minutes before someone let me into lobby. Then it took another 30 minutes to get checked in. I was beyond irritated.

It is what it is Went for business. None of the hotels in the immediate area seemed to have higher ratings for Old Town, *at least anywhere near the price range.* It is what it is, no one was rude; it's right next to the Metro and highway. Seems like the front desk clerk also handles other duties, so not always at the front desk. Friendly enough. Laundry room decent. Coffee okay, granola bars; fruit wasn't the freshest, apples and oranges. No one bothersome. Just not the nicest I've been to in the area.
