I went with them since they had the best pricing. However, they have a very inefficient customer service. I've used it for a plumbing problem that I had and while it's nice to have it as a backup it's still a very inefficient service.

I had to use my home warranty for my dishwasher. Everything from the first call to learn about my coverage to the day the contractor came out to fix my dishwasher was a pleasant experience. I was contacted right away and scheduled within 48 hours. Problem was fixed and I am very pleased.

The service was a gift from my realtor, so I didn't really choose it, but I did decide to stay with them and renew after my year was up. Customer service has always been polite and they do what they're supposed to do. I've never really had a really bad experience with them. I've used it twice in the past couple of months. The very first time I've used it was because my AC went out. The main reason we went with it was because it came with an offer for a re-keying service for our house. We have put the warranty to use some 3 times by now and every time they have followed up to make sure that the appointment was scheduled and the setup was done. One of those times was when we had a leak on the side of the house. I just put in a claim with them and they contacted me the next day to arrange for a plumber to come on the following day. The reason I chose Landmark than to the other guys is that they seem to have more coverage, for the amount of money that I have available. They were able to solve my problem, but I hard to sort of yell at them a little. They kept referring me to a company that wouldn't even call me back, so I told them they weren't reliable. After that, they referred me to a couple of real good people, and it worked like a charm. He fixed my A/C within 20 minutes. We've actually used our warranty a few times for re-keying our house and for air-conditioning and furnace tune-ups. They always send someone out that does great quality workmanship. They're always licensed and insured, the work has been wonderful, really prompt, very professional, and then Landmark always follows up to make sure that we're completely satisfied afterward. The service is fair to good. I needed electrical repairs done but they would not replace what needed to be replaced, even if it was a safety issue. Something similar happened when we needed some plumbing repairs. They wouldn't even send the contractor out to look at our problem. Apparently it was too big of a problem for them to cover it through the contract.
