The service was provided with the purchase of my home. It was easy and they've helped me when my garbage disposal broke.
Our A/C wasn't working properly, so they assigned a contractor to come over, but after a week without luck, I called them back. They did some research, called around and found somebody for us the next day, so we really appreciated that.
They've been very helpful and very quick to respond our claims that we make online. and they've been pretty good so far. We've been going back and forth with them recently, due to a leaky pipe, and they've helped me get some plumbers out here to access where it's come from.
Lots of bait and switch. They say they will follow a certain protocol then you end up shorted based off some internal policy that isn't shared anywhere with the customer.
So far, they've been very prompt on my needs. They've fixed my garbage disposal and a pump; it's all been good.
The real estate agent recommended it to us. I haven't had to use customer support though. They've helped me when my air-conditioner wasn't working, I submitted a claim online and later the person came out and fixed it.
We used it to re-key our house too, but at the time I thought that was just a freebie that came with the house. I was surprised when I received the $60 charge. On a different occasion I just needed to have someone that could come and look at our dishwasher, so we set up an appointment. We did that on the phone and we could also have done that through email. They helped us get it all set up. I have no reservations about calling them again if I need anything. I think they'll take care of me.
The service came with the home I bought and they've been very professional, efficient, and informative. I used it once and everything went just like they said it would. They called, made an appointment, came here on time, and fixed the problem. As much as I like dealing with them and speaking with them, the phone calls are crazy.
My A/C was not working properly, so they sent out a guy to recharge the coolant. Had I not used the home warranty, that procedure would've cost about $450. With Landmark, it only cost me about $250. I would only suggest that they have some kind of pamphlet that explains exactly how much is covered with each item. For example, the technician told me that Landmark only covered around $20 per pound of coolant that the A/C needed, instead of the whole thing.
