I have been trying for several weeks to resolve an issue with my pool heater. I contacted Landmark again and spoke to Marcus J. I expected to get a call back as promised! Still no resolution or call back 10 days later! I’ve been a customer for many years. May be time to shop. 🥲
After doing some research, we called to inquire about the questions we still had pertaining to home warranties and coverages. We were lucky to get connected with Cynthia Freeman. She not only answered all of our questions but also walked us through the entire sign-up process with no stress or pressure. Talking to Cynthia was like talking to a trusting friend with a world of knowledge on the subject of home warranties. We now have peace of mind and a new friend. We can not thank Cynthia enough!

Today 6-12-21 I called Landmark Home Warranty located in Phoenix AZ for service on my refrigerator Freezer at 9 am. I was told by the first gentleman that my account was not active due to non-payment so being curious I logged on to my bank of America account put in landmark and boom payment made 6-1-21. I told him quote am looking at my account and you took the payment out. His reply was I can’t see it call back in an hour and talk to my billing department. Up until this month I have had a really good experience with Landmark. NOT NOW. I have been trying to get my pool fixed for over 4 weeks. I think Ashley has been trying but no go. I have asked several time to talk to someone who can give me some answers but this request has been ignored. I have 3 contracts with Lndmark and I am looking for a new warranty company.
Bad value for the money. Also, only 30 day warranty on repairs.
It took 19 days for the Landmark to notify me that my claim is being denied, which seems like an excessive amount of time. The claim denial is based on a failure of an unwarrantable part (microwave lining). While I understand some things are not covered, they also told me an unknown electronic failure in the unit caused the part in question to fail. It seems to me that they ought to diagnose the "unknown electronic failure" rather than deny my claim based on the damage exhibited.
Slow to answer calls and you sit on hold way too long.
