I have had no troubles so far in the two claims I’ve made with Landmark.
In filling our claim we found that we had to pay for the $60.00 service call. The problem is that our washing machine was leaking water. The tech determined that the clutch was bad causing the drum to leak. Landmark said that they would pay for the clutch ($40.00) but not for the drum($160.00) even though the clutch caused the drum to leak. What kind of warranty is this?
Landmark has not honored their repair. The AC unit needed a compressor replacement and Landmark charged a deductible then covered only one part despite other associated parts, materials needed and had me pay $825. It then broke again less than 30 days and they now expect me to pay $860. Outrageous!
Claim managers should be more knowledgeable on explain to homeowner what is covered and not covered on HVAC units for example I as a new homeowner believe that homeowners insurance covered everything but was told did not cover freon for my AC I pay a deductible expecting not to get a bill from the contractor also
I submitted three claims, all for the swimming pool. In each case I was told they were not covered. I feel like the Warrenty was a wast of money. I could of paid for the repairs with what the warranty cost.
They didn't provide the coverage we had been told we were getting.

I’ve have had Landmark Home Warranty for 5 years and they have been a blessing from appliance replacement to HVAC tune-ups to pest control. I have Peace of mind knowing I can call Landmark to “make my day better”
I called for a broken Garage door spring, at the time I called I did not realize, that the door had 2 springs, we only moved in May 19 2018. Turns out at the present time for San Antonio, TX that Landmark Home Warranty only has 1 warranty approved garage door repair company which greatly limits your selection. THe repair company came today. The Technician informed me that due to the dangers of breakage, they are unable to re tension old garage door springs.
