Make a claim online, receive an email that a contractor will call you, then receive an email to call them, call contractor and they never return your call, have to call the company and they make a phone call. I paid your company money to Warranty my house, I shouldn't have to be calling the contractors, they should be calling me and Landmark should be making sure they do or find another contractor that wants the business.
No service if you have a problem on a Sunday. If you end up with a major problem, they find a reason not to cover it. Left with an $8000 bill!!! NOT renewing our warranty!
Landmark Home Warranty came through for me several times on air conditioner repairs, but then when there was a large repair, they did not cover it. It's questionable to me whether these home warranties are worth it. The good side is you call them and they get a company out there right away and you don't have to search for a company yourself.
Terrible call back customer service. You send a email and don't explain why a work order is done. I know what the tech said to me and yet you close the work
Asked for information on what the warranty covered and how it worked right away, and didn't receive any information. Then had a problem with the water heater which I corrected (new water heater). When I called them, I was told that as they hadn't been called before the repair took place, that I was out of luck.
Turns out a lot of things are not covered, or only partially covered. None of this is made clear. I bought a warranty that actually doesn't help me when I need help.
When I first subcribed to Landmark Home Warranty, they would cover just about any claim with no questions asked. Over the years however, their willingness to cover repairs and claims has greatly diminished. This will most likely be the last year I will be a customer of theirs.
The list of exception is huge. When you purchase a warranty, you'd like to have what's broken fixed or replaced. Not part of it with a lot of additional expenses. Flooded area example- we'll fix the flooded portion and provide you with a person that will quote repairs of damage. Not really comforting.
Wouldn’t use Landmark again and I don’t recommend them to anyone. One of those companies that nickel and dime you.
