My husband and I were in the market to purchase a second car, and we were looking for a reasonably priced used car, as it was just that - a second car. I found an attractively-priced Fiat for sale online and after confirming it was available, I made the long trek up to Fiat of Scottsdale. Do your research and watch out for the bait and switch. I bought a used RAV4 hybrid, the saleswoman (Donna) said they would replace the chipped window as part of the deal. The sales manager Ozzy tried to pull a fast one, telling me to go through my own insurance to get it fixed. (Are you freaking kidding me?) This guy was super shady but I held firm. I purchased a used Ford Escape from Fiat of Scottsdale two years ago, which included a zaktek paint treatment package. As part of this package I was to bring the car back every 6 months for reapplication of the polymer coating. If this is an hour and 15 minutes service, why have I been here for almost 3 hours and still do not have my car back? Normally it is not my practice of writing reviews about someone. But this time is an exception; Purchased a used vehicle for my son who is a college student at ASU. He found the vehicle on his own and was coerced/pressured by the finance manager into purchasing an extended warranty. When it came time to use the plan for repairs this company did not honor the warranty. I strongly recomment not doing business with this company. They are shaddy and practice unethical tactics.

The service department at Fiat North Scottsdale is one of the worst for customer service. I called in with a dead battery, nothing in the online warranty guide states that it is excluded. After a 1-1/2 hour wait, I called for the third time and insisted I talk to someone...continue to wait on hold, transferred back to the central line...again. Rude ASF customer service staff. They try and up sell you on maintenance and when you refuse they turn on you like a mad dog on a dust storm summer day.

I inquired about a vehicle that was had just newly been posted on Autotrader. Spoke with a salesperson named Moe who advised me that the car is still in service and it has not yet passed the pre-sale inspection yet. I had called to put a hold on the vehicle and he said he would call me in the afternoon once it had passed the inspection. 10 minutes later another salesperson calls to tell me that the vehicle is sold. As several reviewers have said, this is a very shady company. These guys earn their stereotype of "used car salesman". Disgusting. They advertise a decent price, and then when it comes time to pay, they hit you with all the dishonest extras and try to spin it like its all part of the deal you agreed to...paint protector, window tinting, etc. I refused and walked out. Called for a quote on a part. Parts guy didn't seem to know what I was describing. Usually calling the dealership means techs are more skilled than others. Parts guy had no idea how much labor costs and transferred me to someone who knew. The person who supposedly knew had no idea and transferred me to someone's voicemail. Glad I didn't go out of my way to this shop, better luck with a non fiat dealership for help.
