We've used First Call for heating & cooling service at our home for years and have always been impressed with their people. This spring we decided to convert from our 60 year old oil furnace to gas and went with them based on our past experiences. First Call came recommended to me by a friend of mine that had used them for years. She was right. They rock. Steve Erickson came out to do a walk-thru on a new furnace. He was honest, open and explained everything thoroughly. I'd gotten 4 other quotes for brands like Carrier, Lennox, Bryant, etc. First Call quoted a Trane, which is #1 according to the leading consumer reporting agencies. Our home is 14 years old and has two Air Conditioning Units to cool the house. We have used First Call or it's affiliates to service our AC over the years. As the weather was getting warmer we turned on the A/C and the unit which cools the lower and entry of our home was not doing the job. I have always had good experiences with First Call. We've had an oil furnace for years but just bought a new gas furnace from them, and everyone was helpful and professional- Steve the sales person, the installers, (I forget their names one starts with a D) and the guys who came to fire it up- Joe and Abel. All very nice, explained everything clearly. I would recommend this company.

Eastside Heating was able to get a technician out to me within 2 days of contact. Matt arrived promptly within the service window and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem with our Trane furnace. He shared his knowledge and was thorough in his troubleshooting to ensure that everything worked as intended. I will definitely be contacting Eastside about any future furnace issues.
Steve E. came out, checked our home (which First Call had already done the furnace for) and showed us the perfect unit for our AC needs (including the condenser not being too 'obvious'). We put the install off for a bit to have some other work done, and then Jeff came out with his assistant Victor(?) and they and an electrician had the cool air flowing by the afternoon. Just had a complete oil to gas furnace conversion done, and it was an awesome experience! The work included removal of the 25+ year-old furnace from our basement, removal of the oil tank and all tubing from the garage, installation of a new gas line (no service to house previously), new high-efficiency furnace, new air conditioning unit outside the garage, and a complete duct cleaning (last cleaning unknown, but over 20 years).
