The app won't let me lock the watch at night. It tells me it's an invalid time. I can only lock the phone during the day. I think wanting to lock the phone at night seems pretty logical as a parent.
We thought this app and associated gabb phone would be helpful for our 14 yo boy. Even without the internet he can delete his texts, add his own contacts, and disable his location on the phone. We have no record of his changes except our own messages missing from his phone. A regular phone that has apps at least allows parental control apps and monitoring that can be installed. The location tracking is slow and doesn't show location history.
So frustrating. This app keeps closing mid pairing so I cant complete the pairing process so my son watch is unusable.
App is horrendous... keeps crashing. Was able to add one watch but not a second to the account. Pretty close to useless...
This app needs to stop telling me that Airplane Mode is on. I know it is. It's always on at my house because our cellular service sucks here. Airplane Mode is on to disable the cellular radio and WiFi with WiFi calling is also on. That doesn't impact MyGabb's ability to get to the internet or to make calls (using my phone's WiFi calling). The app should hush up about it.
Location tracking no longer works.
Not sure what happened with most recent update, but it completely erased our daughter's phone that was connected and we can't get anything on the app to work. (Android)
Love the phone and purpose, however, the tracking never works with my Android phone. It's very frustrating. That's a pretty big let down considering what we pay for this phone monthly.
Worked great for 2 weeks then one night while my 7 year old was at her grandpas, it said she was in another neighborhood then moving down a road towards the dump at 10pm when she was actually in bed the whole time. My husband and I freaked out when noone would answer -because they were sleeping- then when someone answered we found out she'd been in bed. Then the watch settled on her being 2 houses away which was still incorrect. The location notification is always 10-15 minutes behind also.
