Love having the Gabb watch phones for my kids! It totally gives me peace of mind knowing where my kids are, and being able to contact them anytime I need. We live in a neighborhood where the kids are always going from house to house, and it’s perfect when they check in, or we can quickly call them home. I have waited 6 months to write this review because I wanted to use it for a while before decided. With that said, we got the Gabb phone for our 11 year old now that he is playing sports and whatnot in middle school. We love the idea of no internet access or social media. I like that I can get ahold of my daughter and track her when she’s at school or with her friends. Sometimes the location gets lost and makes it seem she’s somewhere else. I’ve had to cal her while she was in class to make sure she was ok (good thing her teacher didn’t take it away)
It is what I was looking for. I just wish there was an option to add international phone numbers for the trusted list to the watch. Or option to message through the app only.
I bought this for my 75 yo husband who has dementia. Its a great way to know his location and he can make n receive calls.
Great, I can keep in touch with my little guy and know where he is! Awesome product without all the baggage that a normal phone comes with. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids and does not want the traditional phone and the issues that comes with that!!
If you’re the type of parent who is always worried about where your kids are but feel like they’re too young for a phone. Then this is the perfect solution for you! I got my 7 year old who is starting to read/write the Gabb watch so I could be in contact in case something happens at school, and to make sure he gets home safely after he gets off the school bus (which he goes to grandmas house since I work). There’s a few things that I wish were better. The tracking is pretty terrible, it’s way off. You also cannot see any texts that go in or out. Also the child can’t type their own message. We like the Verizon watch a little better because of these reasons.
We purchased this watch for our 9 year old in the 4th grade and it has been the best thing! She can be independent with it, we can reach her, but she is still safe. The app is easy to use and the device is easy to manage! I would give it 10 stars if I could
