The old Gabb app was better. This version is basically useless for location tracking. I'll never get a another Gabb device again. The cost/benefit is lacking. update 1/31/2026 from 1-star to 5-stars: Since my initial post, Gabb support worked exceptional trying various ways to get the location to work better with the Gabphone 3 Pro, as my issues where not related to the typical causes, but the device. After a no cost upgrade to a Gabphone 4 Pro, on demand location updating works perfect.

update review, the Gabb team reached out amost daily for months to help fix the issues of not being able to track watch. also watch not accepting calls and / or text messages. From first reach out Oct 13th 2025 from team at Gabb support and myself, watch is now working 100% as should since January 5th 2026. I am glad it is working as it should, and I have hopes it keeps working as such going forward. The Gabb team was great to work with.

The latest version of the phone watch and the app have a connection issue. It doesn't update GPS info for a day sometimes even if we turn it off and on and factory reset it. Update in January 2026: After giving them feedback about GPS not working and acting up. They tried to communicate with me via text. I didn't need help though because the phone watch was updated and the GPS feature started working better. The refreshing button works better as well. Thank you very much for fixing it.

Has some connectivity issues that can be challenging and frustrating at times, but once you get things linked correctly it works well and lets you communicate with the device effectively. We've had a few issues where contacts randomly can't get calls/messages through, but a factory reset has been able to resolve the issue. Customer support has been helpful and courteous, even with the more difficult fixes.

Great customer service! I was having issues with the location not updating. After posting about it, they reached out to me in less than 24 hrs and helped me resolve the issue and credited one free month. We love having a watch for my son that allows us to check his location as well as being able to contact each other without giving him access to the internet. The location isn't real time but you can easily click refresh to see the current location. It's not perfect but it checks all our boxes.

im changing review from 1 Star to 3. it was a hassle getting it to work. something to do with buying it using one email and trying to set it up with another. it took days to work through, but customer support followed up with me and was responsive. it appears to be working now.

Basic functionality worked fine. Some of the apps on the phone are buggy: countdown timer doesn't beep; tasks app is buggy. But location tracking, calls, and texts work. The tech support chat was very helpful and responsive. They resolved setup issues and some bugs, and assured me other bugs would be fixed soon. Ultimately my kids lost interest due to bugs and I sent both watches back. I may try them again later.

update: my first review I was not satisfied with GPS, but everything else about the phone was great! This is a safe phone and I'm grateful for those features. Customer service reached out to me Re: GPS issues we were having, and they were great. We worked on it for hours, It would seem to be fixed and then not work. This went on for a while, we ran out of options and they provided us with a new replacement phone. CS is great check in, still checking in! Best customer service!

after working with customer service, they could not fix the issue with phone, and sent a replacement phone that is working now. thanks for working with us to solve the issue. daughters phone service is terrible. consistently can not sent or receive text and calls. phone is in our house right now, but app has her 2 miles away. very unreliable.
