GPS used to be delayed but work. Now it's not working at all. Frustrating as a parent with a teen... App improved with many Gabb tech support interventions, but still not consistently accurate for location.

update: after not being able to locate my son's watch, we're back in business! I must say, their customer service reps are quick and proactive. they reached out to me and the problem was resolved. they really seem to care about their customers. I'm glad things worked out.

Update 2: I must say, Gabb's customer service is wonderful! The location tracking is still spotty and the parent app makes me sign in repeatedly, but the customer service reps are worth the increase from 1 star to 3. Improve the location and the parent app and add downtime, and you can easily have 5 stars.

I've rewritten a review many times. This is my final thoughts after having Gabb phones for 2 years. Customer service is SO GOOD - very helpful/responsive. I'd give 5stars for them alone. However the GPS location falls a bit short. It works most of the time on our kids phones, but as soon as they enter a building (work, gym, school) it will stop working. I'm told they are working on the issue - my review will be 5stars when that is fixed!

update! apparently we had a defective phone. Gabb replaced it and now everything works perfectly. updated rating to 4/5 stars. tasks don't work right and it was one of the main reasons I bought the watch 3e for my son. gps part works perfectly as does texting. calling works but can be hard to hear.

2nd Update: Here we go again! My kids can't receive or make calls or texts. You sure did take the payment tho! Lawsuit waiting to happen when a chold is in an emergency and I am here for it. It's a little different to get used to over traditional cell phones. I needed assistance from a human due the SIM card not functioning properly at first. I received a call at home and we did a reset and we are now online and good to go. I feel at ease knowing my kids can reach me when they are not with me!

update: the gabb staff reached out and after troubleshooting determined a further update would be required to fix the bug. the latest update on feb 23rd fixed the issues with tasks original: since the latest update I am unable to see or assign tasks at all.

UPDATE tech support very helpful. 5/18/26. Here I am again 4/24/2026. Another complaint. I tried to get support help and it lead nowhere. Phone will talk and text but cannot locate on GPS. Stuck on location from over 24 hours ago. I have completed all troubleshooting steps with no results. Previous complaint was resolved: I don't like this since the updates. I get 3 messages at the same time that my son left a facility and he didn't.

Edited to add: The developers have fixed my issue and so far I do like the watch. I have had 2 watches that fail to pair with the app. I am so over it. customer service is friendly and helpful, but still unable to resolve the issue. im still on the phone with support (multiple hold periods), so let's see what happens. Im agitated and not very hopeful. Wishing I had gone with Bark Watch.
