I want to love it, and I do when it works. Every few months, it no longer syncs and I have to do a factory reset, which means I have to put everything in all over again and my kid loses progress on all his stuff. I’ve tried every troubleshooting advice out there and haven’t ever been able to get it to sync again without the factory reset and starting over. Hope Gabb can get that figured out because other than that issue, the Gabb 3 watch has worked great for us.

We do love the watches for my 1st and 3rd graders. I love that I can track them and they can easily message me if needed. Some cons for me at the moment are; the tracking feature when they leave the Safe Zones is delayed by 5 minutes or so (I feel that feature is extremely important and the delay is too much); the Safe Zones radius should be updated (we should be able to draw the zones in versus the set radius slider); and lastly, the face of the watch is a little bulky on smaller wrist. I’ve had Gabb2 watch & now on Gabb3 watch for a middle schooler. I love the idea of low tech communication, but the app is not always in sync. Right now it can’t locate the watch and it’s next to me. I’m checking for updates ect…. Is this a great deal for low tech communication? YES Would I recommend this watch? Yes Will I order the Gabb4 watch for an 8th grader? Yes!

I got my 3rd born son a Gabb phone when he was 15, when he began driving. His two older brothers had flip phones and liked them just fine. My 3rd son is not tech savvy at all, so the touch screen and ease of use of the Gabb phone was perfect for him. When my 4th son turned 14, we went ahead and got him a Gabb phone, too. I got the Gabb3 watch for my 10yo grandson September 2023. It had worked well until it suddenly would not turn on (in spite of having been on the charger overnight. One call to customer service was all it took. Thank you so much! My grandson is thrilled to have his watch back and working!
