Firmware updates have yet again smoked the ability for my son to use his watch. It is stuck on the black loading screen. We have done hard resets 5 times now and nothing is working. Every time an update comes out, we have issues. The app is no help either, giving me no way to factory reset, force shutdown, anything. We pay a premium for this device just for it to stop working.

The app rarely works to give me timely notifications and recently hasn't been telling me when the battery is running low on my daughter's watch. I've found the watch completely dead multiple times and zero notifications. The app isn't even registering that the watch is off. Completely unreliable in a situation where I need it for my young daughter's safety.

Your firmware updates to my kids 3e watches have black screened both devices now. It's so bad that we upgraded my oldest to the phone, but I refuse to upgrade my youngest. Please learn how to push updates so I don't have to continuously fix the black screen!!! Your support group WILL be hearing from me since I can't get the screen to show up even after a factory reset.

1/7/26 Watch update does not show location. Not getting texts. 8/26/25 Still does not show location in real time. EDIT: Did factory reset per tech support. Still having issues! Since the update, nothing but problems. Overheats w/out doing anything. Turns off & on for no reason. GPS slow to track accurately. When it restarts, everything is gone. I've unpaired/re-paired and done hard reset. Very disappointed. Ridiculous. Should have gone with Bark.

the GPS isn't correct. the refresh rate is horrible gives completely different location from where my child is ... the power on the watch also turns off by itself...

My kids check off their tasks, but nothing comes through on my end. it did the very 1st day, but nothing after. They are not able to collect coins due to this and now have stopped finding joy in checking off what they've completed. Ultimately now having to be reminded to do them. Also, the GPS is all over the place. They are currently in school and I keep getting notified 1 has left the safe zone and looks to be off roaming the neighborhood, he's 8 and I walk him into school.

Buggy and burdensome. So many false location alerts! I'm glad at least the calls and texts work, but the basic apps are dysfunctional. The calculator, the alarms and timers... junk! I am constantly getting false GPS alerts saying the watch is miles away, even at 3 in the morning! I have contacted support but the steps to fix it are ridiculous and don't work anyway. I dread system updates since they always cause problem. It's the cheapest service for what it does but you get what you pay for...
