GPS is 1k feet away when I hold the watch, and over a mile away when it's on the table. Hope my kid never goes missing with this on! Messages take up to 5 minutes to send or receive. Customer service gaslit me and told me it's unfortunate I "feel this way". What's unfortunate is you can't fix your problems.

When it works, it's fine. The problem is that it's short-lived. We are constantly having issues with the GPS not working, the app shows that my son's phone is at 2% when it's at 100%, most of the time the app does not recognize my son's device. It's tiring having to reach out and deal with multiple people trying to troubleshoot the issue. I go through all the steps they recommend and finally get it working again, only to have the same thing happen 2 weeks later. I'm tired of dealing with this.

more problems now than when I got this three years ago. maps hardly ever work. now I can't hardly update the kids location and the bell won't ring on either kids phone. the support button is a joke. I pay more for these phones than my wife and I and I can't even call the kids phones half the times. I get a call from other parents at school functions when they need picked up since the gabb phone won't make a call. update 12/12/25. no one from gabb has reached out and I have uninstalled, not work

The refresh rate on the GPS is so long sometimes. Super frustrating during those times when you really need it to be working. UPDATE: Issue is still not fixed. Requested Life360 app, which actually works, and it was declined. Will be shopping for different carruer soon. This phone is worthless to us without working GPS.

Worst kid cell service available. I am considering hiring a lawyer to break my contract. The app never works, random people can still contact my daughter, I don't have nearly the oversight I had on other services. Trying Gabb is my biggest regret of 2025.

The old Gabb app was better. This version is basically useless for location tracking. I'll never get a another Gabb device again. The cost/benefit is lacking.

My experience seems to track so many others here. We have had gabb watches and phones for a couple of years. At first, it was good. A little spotty but workable. It is now basically useless. Reception only occasionally when all other phones work; GPS is pointless; measages often do not get to child or from child. Gabb, look at your reviews. Not everyone can be wrong. This system needs work. Your app itself is worse with every update no matter what I do.

We have had a Gabb watch for four years. Until recently, it worked great. For the past two months now, the continues to unpair itself, it takes at least 15 minutes for me to uninstall the app, reinstall the app, repair the watch to the app. I don't have time to do that every.single.time. Customer support just gives me the same process to follow with no solution. Sadly, I no longer recommend Gabb and we are very close to canceling our service. No reason to pay for a service we can't use.

*Dec'25* should've known it was too good to be true, been having the same issues. hopefully we can just get the kids real phones in a yr or 2 and be done w Gabb *Apr'25* Impressed w Gabb social media team. They sent us replacements and we haven't had any issues with the 3es. *Mar'25* Unreliable watches, they don't work majority of the time. We also disabled focus mode on the app but it won't disable on the watches.
