We bought each of my kids a Gabb watch for Christmas. They had a deal that you sign a contract and get a free device. I completely regret doing it because although the watches seem pretty nice the service is awful, the pedometer doesn't work, and I wonder if they even have a customer service team.

Literally can't even create an account. My phone number keeps getting rejected with a very unhelpful toast saying "Invalid parameter". Also the onboarding flow doesn't save any state so you have to start from the beginning when you navigate to a different app. Update: It seems the password was too long or had a character that they don't accept. Client side validation would help with this. The invalid parameter message was referring to something a screen before which is very confusing.

Update: I still have issues with this app. The location doesn't seem to STAY ON which means it states there is something wrong. And no, the phone isn't off. It just doesn't always show location. Kind of defeats the purpose. The locator doesn't work most of the time. Your child is also able to turn this feature off. When i spoke to support about it, there is nothing they can do to make sure it stays on. I find it very odd that a child saftey phone is not able to be controlled by the parent?

Location feature is really horrible. No real time updates takes a while to show my son's location. Many times it fails to locate as well

If you're looking for a childs phone, the Gabb is decent. However, if you're looking to use the GPS tracking feature with Gabb, it is worthless! It will actually locate the phone maybe 1 time out of 15 tries. Don't waste your money. We are going to re-activate our old Gizmo device, which is 10,000 times more reliable! We should have listened to all the negative reviews!

Since the update, the app isn't connecting to my child's phone. I can't play a sound or use the GPS tracking.

When it works it's fine but the last few weeks the app won't even open at all so it's completely useless.

Once again the location option DOES NOT work. It's fine for a couple of days and then nothing for weeks again. The main reason I purchased this phone was the location services!
