I had the best experience with my highlight here. Eric is a great colorist. I came with a mixed color hair of grey, black and dark brown and he could fix it and turn it into a beautiful highlight. I had never had such an amazing highlight in my life. I highly recommend this place and specially Eric as colorist.

I had to come back after vowing several years ago not to return because I needed a haircut before an unexpected meeting, but the experience reminded me of exactly why I left after years of going to GJ every 4-6 weeks. When I first started going to Gene Juarez years ago, you would walk into the salon and were greeted by someone at the door. $91 for a basic men's haircut with no hair massage or shave or anything. That's obscene. Haircut was also uneven. For $91 I should have gotten the best haircut of my life and I could have gotten something as good or better at a $35 shop

Ive been a 30 year client of multiple locations at Gene Juarez and I'm officially done. Went to UV location and had my appt canceled again - but was called on my way to the appt so I didn't get the message causing me frustration, disappointment and a two hour loss of time of my day. When MIA at the front desk told me my appt was canceled she didn't even apologize and offered me an appt over a week in advance. When I said I was going somewhere else, she said, "sounds good". I had an appointment for a facial and the person was sick. When I called to reschedule. They did not even apology for the inconvenience and would not work with me on multiple days to find a new day and time that would work for both me and them. I guess I will have to start going somewhere else with my family.

Mediocre quality of work over the years we have been loyal to you and absolutely the worst customer service when we needed the help. You canceled my daughter's prom hair appointment last minute and refused to help finding an alternative. I was put on hold when I called to reschedule and then hung up on.

I went in to get a Baliage,and a Hair Cut and did not get a Baliage but they charged me $275 for it. I called and spoke to several people over a 3 week period and they refused to give me a credit. Tiny strips of color in my hair is not a Baliage. I will never go to back. I am so very disappointed in this establishment..

First, the service was terrible. The beautician, Maribel A, didn't listen to my needs or expectations. I even showed her pictures of the style I wanted, but she simply said, "Yes, that's what you'll get," and proceeded with the service. She applied a couple of creams 10 minutes apart and then claimed the service was complete. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she said she would speak to her manager about getting me a refund. I live in NY but occasionally get my hair colored at your salon when visiting family. My past experiences have been good. I have been highlighting/bailage my dirty blonde hair for the past decade and a half. I went to the Bellevue salon recently and tried a new stylist, Nali A. Although the color looked fine, the bleach used severely damaged my hair. It has been breaking and falling out in large quantities. The texture is completely modified, tangling easily.
