So disappointed in this spa. Super annoying booking service online. I had a massage scheduled and two hours before they called to cancel. I spoke to someone who was so rude and disrespectful to me, when I was clearly frustrated in the lack of communication and resolution. She treated me like a child. If I were to cancel two hours before an appointment, I would be charged. What was their solution? Sorry, no appointment available today. Will never go back to this location again.

Don't go for the model haircut there if you at all care about your hair length/style. It took me years to grow my hair and now it's gone :'( I went in for a model haircut for $35 and got a surprise haircut instead. I had beautiful long hair, a little above waist level and wanted to keep it that way and just two inches shorter if needed for the haircut. I think a story will be better to demonstrate why I gave 1 star, if not, lower. I went in to get a color and cut yesterday. The color went fine, I asked for a light brown and got it darker than the picture and the hair example they showed me. But I am ok with this color. My haircut though made me look like a pumpkin. I told my hair stylist that I was growing out my hair and really did not want it cut that much. I have been going to Gene Juarez for over 15 Years and they used to be a quality hair salon but lately I have had NOTHING but problems with them. There are noticeable issues after every color appointment (huge chunks of area with no color) and my hair cut is never even (and I get a very basic cut with long layers and framing). Today took the cake though - I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance and they call me one hour before my appointment to tell me I can still get my color but they don't have anyone to do my hair cut.... read more
I've been to Gene Juarez twice, both times to get a full color because of my gray hairs and a balayage. The first time was with Nicole, I loved how it turned out it took forever because she did the all over color first, washed my hair and then the balayage. Although it took so long I loved the final product and she was thorough. The second time I had dan because that was who was available, instead he did the all over color and balayage at the same time. I have been a loyal client of Gene Juarez for 20 years. They have colored and cut my hair, styled it. I have had facials, massage, eye lash extensions, waxing and makeup. Today was my final visit. The attention to details, such as brushing the hair off your face after having your haircut, asking if you like the way your hair is cut and styled, is simply non existent. Would give zero stars if I could. I locked my things up in one of the lockers and someone stole my phone, keys, and wallet!! The staff was not helpful AT ALL in helping me recover my items or taking responsibility for keeping track of their locker keys. I will not be returning or recommending to anyone!!

2nd visit was not nearly as good as the first one. I won't be going back. First I made an appt before Christmas and they called to change the appt half hour before I was suppose to be there. So I canceled the appt that night since I couldn't get there on time for the new time they wanted me to come. So I made another appt for this last week.
