They need dedicated people to man the reception and answer the phone. Regardless of which GJ you call, the wait time is 10+ min, at least, on the phone with elevator music. In this day and age where customer service takes precedence, answering the phone is first and foremost touch point with the customer. It is ridiculous and unheard of to be put on hold for 10 minutes. If they can't even meet this simple criteria, I can't imagine they can meet expectations beyond that.
Gene Juarez had been my go to Salon but recently the quality has declined and the prices keep on increasing! Just to call and make an appointment takes forever! Feeling super frustrated but it may be time to look for another Salon!
Let me tell you what a balayage is. It's a beautiful fade of color in your hair that looks like an ombré. It's even throughout. Now let me tell you what a balayage isn't. It isn't blotchy chunks of color at the top of your head, orange chunks at the bottom, and blonde chunks in the middle. I looked like a calico cat once the lady was through with me. NEVER EVER going back. How can a salon that charged me $180 for a balayage screw it up so bad, I'll never understand. Save yourselves the money and go somewhere else
I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. I am currently a Spa Member and the practices I have seen in the last three months are appalling and gotten increasingly worse. Three months ago I witnessed a line of more than 6 people trying to either check-in or check-out. As the line grew the faster associates walked away from the front desk refusing to help customers. Jennifer Gordon Engstfeld Just now · Has anybody ever gone into Gene Juraze Salon and looked at the price list. Done the pedicure, only to find out thats its way more than they list on the price sheet! WHAT? RIPPED OFF is how I feel! The list price varies depending who does your toes. The 45 minute service is actually 30 minutes to. They said 45 minutes for $45. was 30 for $56. I was treating my husband and it was $112. They should be ashamed of themselfs.

Today I called to confirm an appointment with Gene Juarez Redmond WA and had to wait on hold over 5 minutes. In addition, my appointment was not on the schedule, after I spoke to a scheduler yesterday and asked her 3 times to make sure my appointment was on the schedule. Also, a month ago, I showed up for an appointment and it also was not on the schedule. So disappointed. I arrived for my appointment which I thought was at 12 at 11.57 only to find out that my appointment was at 11:45. Clearly a miscommunication on both sides. The receptionist then told me she needs to check with the stylist Mandy if she could still take me as I was late. Mandy said no. I was then offered a later time at 12:15 with someone else at a more expensive rate, to which I said no. But I would give it zero stars if it let me... worst experience I've ever had. I even reviewed them before I came in with specific instructions and pictures of what I wanted. I knew that hairstylists like to have their clients be tedious with details about what they want their hair to be like and that I was! Really bad experience, even though I have been a super nice guy with this salon. I have been using this salon for the past 1 year, and I did have a few bad experiences. But today, was the last very bad experience, and the last one, because I will not use this salon anymore. 1) I had the same hair stylist for long time, but she works with this salon just a few days, and I had to try another hair stylist.
