After having terrible experiences at other salons, I've learned that you really can't go cheap on your hair. It pains me to pay like $50 for a hair cut, but it's totally worth it. They generally do a good job, both on hair cuts and coloring. I would, however, recommend always asking for the same stylist once you find one that does a good job, since there's definitely a range of expertise and ability with their stylists. Susanna gave me the most amazing massage ever. She's knowledgeable, professional and makes you feel like you're floating into another realm. I received the neck, head and shoulder massage and will book with her again. I highly recommend Susanna. What an absolutely fabulous experience. Thank you Susanna.

Went here for a haircut and color because I had a coupon for the haircut. I entered from the parking lot (not from inside the mall), and I found it to be confusing as to where I was supposed to go - check in at the spa (nope), at the first counter (nope that is for customers checking out), third times the charm and I found it. My appointment was for 5 p.m., but the person probably didn't come get me until 5:15 or 5:20. I have seen many people at the spa over the years, and only have had a couple bad experiences, both with haircuts. The first was a crooked cut in the back, but it was corrected for free once I called. It's hard to blame the stylist though because she was eight months pregnant and had a hard time getting close to me while I was in the chair. LOL. My stars above cover a range of 2 stars up to 4 stars, and I'll do my best to briefly cover them below. Four stars go to, oddly enough, ladies named Kat. One is in the downtown Seattle location and that Kat excels at Brazilians and facials. She is sweet and chatty and great at her job, but knows when to let you relax and Zen out. She does the waxing fast and firm, so if that is not your style you may want to think twice. I booked a partial balayage this morning because my last one had grown out which the cost was 267.00 online for 10:30AM. I didn't get in her chair until about 10:47 AM made the appointment expecting the full service to include a blowout and style that's what I usually expect when I'm paying a premium price and I trusted Elaine when she suggested adding foils since my hair is curly and color shows more in a bun.
