I wanted to get very basic info about hair extensions before I come in ( like if they do temporary or permanent extensions and if they use synthetic vs human hair, cost etc )but the scheduler was very rude and kept saying that you should take a $45 consultation to get your questions answered. Why would I pay to get this basic info answered which helps me decide if that's the right place for me. The worst part was that she disconnected the phone while I was half way talking.

I have been getting my haircut at Gene Juarez for more than 10 years. I always felt so good after a haircut, I could go shopping or out to lunch and I looked good. Now there is a new policy where your haircut includes a blow dry style. I normally flat iron my hair and that is apparently not included. I have to go home and flat iron my hair otherwise it looks pretty bad. I have no problem with the cut but I think if you are getting a 100.00 haircut you should look nice when you leave the salon. I had a hair and lash appointment. My Dad died. I cancelled the appointment for both. I have been contacted by josh several times after I cancelled the two services. They seem convinced I owe them $34 - for what? Incompetent.
Worst service ever...when we walked into the salon, we showed The lady a picture asking her if it was possible to do as the same as the picture, she said yes. when we realized that she was doing the wrong job on my niece. I am going to honor my haircut appointment but not return to this salon after today. I made an appointment for color in March for 7/1. I get a text a couple of days ago cancelling my 7/1 appointment and offering 7/3. This morning (Friday before July 4th weekend), I get another text cancelling my 7/3 appointment. the level of customer care has declined in this saloon since the change on management and most of the previous establish stylist left The last three times I scheduled a hair appointment the stylist were running behind over 10 minutes plus. It used to be stylist will get you within the few minutes of your schedule appointment now the customer have to check for updates on when the stylist will be seeing them. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had. My appointment was cancelled and rescheduled 3 times because stylists called out. The person who ended up doing my hair, Amy, treated me like a complete after thought. I was there for 4 hours and was never even offered water. My color was atrocious, not even close to what I asked for. She wanted to charge me nearly $900 but because they had rescheduled my appointment so many times they said it would be free. Came in for an appointment for them to tell me that I missed the appointment time by 4 hours when they never called me or anything to let me know I missed it so I could've saved a trip to the place. I would've been okay if they called to change the appointment since I missed. But they didn't.

My daughter got her haircut there last week and ask for a trim. The lady didn't say one word to her and cut 3 inches off of her hair mind you her hair was halfway down her back now it goes right below her shoulders almost. I hadn't really noticed how bad the cut really was but today she blow dried her hair and it's literally so uneven there's choppy pieces everywhere and I don't know what the lady was thinking.
