Forced to use this app by phone vendor. Not intuitive. No messages show on home screen. When sending text, wants to force all recipients to get this app. Does RingCentral want to be the borg!? Calling support is tough. Long series of recordings, followed by reps who are often hard to understand or unhelpful. Overpriced fees.

I've been unable to send text messages via the app.

Valerie, It seems like this might be a permissions/configuration issue - Can we make sure that you have SMS correctly setup & accessible from your main navigation menu? I hate RC made me upgrade the mobile app! The other one was working just fine. Now I can't get anything done with the new one. Hate it, hate it, hate it! Let's us go back to the older version!

The new app is terrible it no longer works for text messages from clients. I am looking for a new service. 6/17/2020 on hold again with support, their old app that worked is no longer available. Text messages from my clients are no longer available. As I travel often for business this is a huge issue. My account is paid in advance ring central has no solution. It seems like the cost of a new service and and small claims is the only option. I have been with them for years. Bad business!

Lastest update merges ringcentral and rc phone, but now our personal accounts can't access the phone function and we have to switch back and forth between accounts whether we want to do inter-office chat, or make office phone calls. This upgrade was done without advance notice, and we were unable to return client calls because we hadn't figured out the switch. This is absurd, upgrades should make the app better not worse.

This app is the pits on Android ! It drains your battery. I keep waiting for a fix but nothing in 3 years. Would not use this app if my company didn't.
