Why is there two areas to send messages? One messages, another text... so confusing. One seems to be sms, the other seems to be something like Microsoft teams. So confusing.

Hi Ed, One area is meant for Text messages and - that is text / SMS. The second area is meant for Glip messages - which is for application messaging and that is meant to be used within the app itself.

Another service from RC that only half works. I've missed a number of calls and text messages from customers because there are no notifications for phone calls or text messages even though they are enabled. Switching to another VOIP provider for my business later this month.

Edit: now down to one star. Notifications are horrible. I have missed multiple message notifications now. I emailed their review email address but never heard back.

Their service sucks. Once you have an account they ignore you and getting technical assistance is impossible. I had them for over a decade. They were good in the beginning. As they grew, they didn't care about the small business. I would NOT use them.

It's nice but it has a big where speakerphone goes back to handset mode on it's own randomly. You'd have to hit the speakerphone button once to "go back to handset mode" (even though it went back) and hit it again to enable speakerphone mode. It will then go back to handset mode after a while randomly. It's worse if you multitask.

Pixel 2xl with RingCentral. Half the time will miss calls and the phone won't even ring or notify me in any way. All notification settings are set to alert.
