From the very beginning, I had just finished my lunch in a parking lot, and was looking at the refinance rates on Zillow on my smartphone. Hi, Sharyn at GSF Mortgage did my (Oakland, CA) condo refinancing a couple months ago. I never write online reviews but I had to review Sharyn because she was so responsive and so helpful at successfully and quickly guiding me through the refinancing process. Sharyn Dicarlo handled my deal. She was on top of it from the start. From start to finish, three weeks! She's very knowledgeable. If you're a numbers person, she'll keep right up with you. Would recommend her to anyone.
Had a fantastic experience with GSF. Sharyn was unbelievably responsive every step of the way. The loan process is painful in general, but they made it as smooth and pleasant as possible. I was able to lock a fantastic rate, and their "home sweet home" promotion saved me money on the inspection. Overall I was very, very pleased with everything and would recommend to friends and use them again!

My initial contact was with Pamela Gustafson at GoGsf. I spoke with Pam and answered a few general questions and within 24-hours I received an email with about four different loan options. Excellent customer service and great rates! Reasonable flat processing fee. A smooth web-based application process with less paperwork. The ability to choose your own title and escrow company is a plus (you can shop around for the best price). Even though they were not able to close the refinancing before the rate lock expired, GSF extended the rate lock for an extra week at no additional cost. Definitely would recommend using GSF Mortgage.
