Almost everything I buy is through reading reviews, unfortuately before I went with GSF, I went with discover loans (formerly lending tree) and the entire process was a joke, they played games, at the end days before closing, sending a revised estimate that was 40,000 less then the original. I told them close it down, went to zillow and found gsf had all positive reviews, and contacted them immediately. Service was incredible! Pam Gustafson was wonderful to work with throughout the process. My wife and I researched several mortgage companies and GSF had the best rates and lender credit combo. Our mortgage refinance cost us very little and we will save us about $300 per month! Excellent deal, excellent service, no hassle. In a word, FANTASTIC! Sharyn DiCarlo was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. She stayed on top of the process and even went "above and beyond" the call of duty when the third party appraiser tried to charge an extra (and seemingly unjustified) fee. Sharyn seems to work all the time, and I felt that I was her only client. I worked with Sharon DiCarlo, and she responded to emails and calls almost immediately. She got everything done quickly and made me aware of each step as it was taking place. I was reluctant to refinance through the internet, but it worked out well.

I worked with Mike English at GSF on a refi in August 2012. Mike could not have made the process any smoother. He was extremely knowledgeable about the market and quickly responded to every one of my questions. After talking to Mike in the Spring, I finally jumped at the opportunity to refinance when Mike called to let me know that rates had dropped to historic levels.
