Terrible and unprofessional I had a terrible experience with Grapevine Ford. I put $7500 down on a car on Friday and was asked to return on Monday to re-sign some papers. Once I arrived I was told that the car had been sold to someone else. I don’t understand how this can be done and especially how the dealership never even called me notify me about this. Burglarized and Disrespected! Dropped our vehicle off for repairs. Little did I know we dropped it off for William and his team to allow it to get broken into and ransacked. Now I am instructed by the dealership to figure it out on my own. Call the police myself. Call and file a claim on MY insurance and pay the deductible! I would absolutely NOT recommend this place. All they said was, "Well, it could have happened to anyone, not our fault!"
I feel cheated at Grapevine Ford The car I wanted a 2014 Lincoln MKT was listed at $17,900.00 and on Saturday 10/29/2022 the day of my appointment the dealership dropped the price of the car to $15,900.00. I was so excited! I Came to the Dealership for my scheduled appointment with a Bank approval of $15,000.00 from Westlake Financial and my trade a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. Really not a good dealership at all. As a first time buyer, having little to no credit history. I was taken advantage of to the fullest extent. I had spent months doing research and learning about the car buying process to avoid getting bent over on a deal. Wouldn't try to work with me on getting me the truck I was there for, which was a completely different story at other dealerships that were bending over backwards to get in the truck I wanted. Worst transaction ever! Waiting 2 1/2 hours after walking in with cash in hand to buy out my lease was the most absurd experience ever aside from the 8 hr transaction it took to lease the vehicle a couple years ago. If I wasn’t forced to go back to this dealership to complete the transaction I wouldn’t! Zero stars! Incompetent handling from start to finish!
Poor Experience & Unresponsive to Concerns I purchased a used vehicle and the salesperson was great to work with and did a fantastic job. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle there was a large crack down the middle of the windshield that was not present during the test drive. They stated they would order a replacement windshield but I would have to pay for it myself. BEWARE THE 2nd KEY CON Purchased a used car from Grapevine Ford and all went well until after the purchase price was agreed to. When the paperwork arrived I was surprised to see $1k+ in additional fees for LoJack and a replacement 2nd key. LoJack is what it is so I could only negotiate the cost down as it was already installed, a fact not divulged during the original negotiations. I have been happy with the service on both vehicles and the lease experience but decided to keep this car. Curtis and Santiago were very easy to work with. The experience was efficient, stress-free, and fair. Santiago found a great loan rate and worked to the payment where I was comfortable with my budget.
