I am very disappointed in Great Day Improvements. I had them come out to my home and give me a quote on doing a deck and screened in pouch for me. Then set up for them to do the project for me. They came out one other time to do a remeasure and then they asked for a plot plan so they could get the permits and after I sent in the plot plan they told me that the city would not take them. Would not recommend this group. Didn't show up on the date of install and I had to reach out and the next day get an email they would be there the following date. (For the money we pay wouldn't you think a call would have been nice) of course that day came and went. When they did show up, they worked maybe a total of 6 hours between both days to tell me it didn't fit and would have to reorder. They left metal shaving all over our driveway and patio which caused issues with our dogs and cats getting them in their paws. Never ... read more

A good product suffered the inconsistencies of teams, management, and employee turnover during the pandemic. At times there was variable quality control and supply chain issues across the timeline (it took 1.5 years to accomplish). In the end the completed product was acceptable, and the office staff followed through with a small refund.

We signed the contract 3 months ago, but they are still in the *** process and did some measurement twice any progress. Very disappointed.

I have spent over $70,000 and they sill haven't finished. We started the process and signed the contracts in April/ May, 2022. They started our deck/ 3 season room, in September, 2022. It's now March, 2023. Recently, they sent me a letter, threatening collection of the final 10%! And they haven't even finished the project. This letter came a month after they asked if they could do a final inspection? I told them then, that the job wasn't finished and I'd like to hear from someone. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. (OUT OF 19.2k WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT!!!!) I signed a contract with Great Day for a 65K sunroom to be put on an existing deck. After a few months waiting and Great Day getting a 19.2k downpayment from me I was informed by Great Day that they could not get approval to do the work AGREED UPON in the contract. By my calculus if a party can’t hold up their end of an agreement there is no AGREEMENT. I wanted the contract done as agreed or the deal terminated. Horrible experience. License expired and took months to resolve. Would schedule appointments and no sho no call. Destroyed my gutters and now I have huge puddles every time it rains. Screen has a hole. Poor customer service. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.
