We bought four windows 9-30-09 with a lifetime warranty from Stanek Windows . We noticed recently. all four windows have a black rubbery substance between the inside glass of the windows, around the edges . I called 7-9-24 to ask what is causing this problem and to have someone to come and look at them. The lady I talked to said that it was a cosmetic problem and the only thing she could do is send me a quote for replacement windows. I would never want to buy another window from them. According to our records from the service department, the issue you are having is cosmetic. It does not affect the glass performance, and is not covered under warranty. However, if your windows have shown condensation/fogging between the panes of glass, that is covered under warranty, and we would be happy to assist you with getting the glass replaced. Patio has many flaws and they will not return our calls. The product was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Now doors will not lock , screen came off, and water leaks.

Product is not good. Installed 2 weeks ago. Window is falling apart. Called our design consultant and sent picture to him. ************************* said he forwarded it to his 3 managers. We also called their ************** and had to leave message. We have not heard from the company still. 2 days and still waiting for someone to call us back on how they are going to fix the window that is apparently breaking 2 weeks after the install. Do not use this company. No follow up or follow through.

First I would like to say we do love our patio enclosure, but feel like it was way overpriced. Sitting in the 18x12 room I look back and feel we were overcharged by several thousand dollars on what we had done. The salesman comes in and I know he is doing is job but feel we were pressured to make a decision on the spot or we wouldn't get the additional thousand dollars off. They start off high and by the time you get the third price you think it's a great deal. But, looking back there is no way it should of cost that much. *... read more

I am only giving this company a 1 rating because communications with them started out great but went downhill during the installation process. Our installation is still not complete and I have not heard from them in weeks!!!Run for the hills if you want a patio enclosure and they are the company doing the install.

Initially, I was very impressed with the quote and work, but there was a blip with estimate and they wanted to charge me 8K more, I said to cancel the contract, but ****** assured me that their company would stick with the quote. Great! The rooms were put in. Great, they look beautiful, but after the first hard rain, I found 2 leaks. The contractor came and sealed, or so I thought. After the next rain, same leaks. Our enclosed patio was purchased as a three season enclosure. However, the windows are so poorly designed that they allow water to enter the enclosure when it rains. Our previous enclosure at a previous home never had a water issue. That enclosure was constructed by Statewide Remodeling. Since they stopped doing porch enclosures, we were forced to hire Patio Enclosures. Now, they have tried to correct the issues with the porch many, many, times. We chose this company to build a two story porch addition. We started the process in Oct. In Feb we realized that this company had not completed the permit process and we had to go to our local permit office ourselves. There was no communication unless we demanded it. Throughout the three month installation process there were a large amount of problems, miscommunication, wrong materials sent, and frustrating phone calls. He went through the various options of a patio enclosure with my wife and I, which was fine. Towards the end of our meeting, he highly recommended a local contractor, since we were looking to turn our patio into an additional living space prior to closing it in.
