I am a subcontractor working for a great day LLC in Birmingham Alabama. I recently just started in my first two jobs that I had took weeks for to get paid and I still haven't I keep getting excuses on why I'm not getting paid. We went with this company because they area national brand and said they would be able to get the build done in a timely manner. I found out they where lying to me about the permits after 9 months when I went to the county building myself and found out they had not even started the permit process. My husband and I sought to enclose our patio and make a four-season room. He met with 10 different companies with the clear goal of a FOUR season room, including the ability to insulate the ceiling, install a heated floor, and use during the winter. ****** came to our home and showed us a product that was insulated with the windows coming all together as one unit. My experience with Great Day Improvements has been a total nightmare!!! I was subjected to a con artist crooked sales person who wasted a whole evening and several days after of my time. The salesman gave me one job quote on the first night then came back 4 days later and remeasured my room and said due to a heavy work schedule and being so busy he made a measurement mistake and adjusted my job quote by nearly $5,000.00 dollars!!!l I hope someone can look into this company's business practices. Would not recommend this company. Terrible communication - it took 11 months to complete a 200 square foot room. The result was not worth the money it cost.

I was super excited to work with patio enclosures, however after they added $8k to original bid for my project, I decided to cancel my project. I am still waiting on my $11k initial deposit. Now no one in the office is responding to refund request. I have completed all needed forms and still waiting on getting my money. This is poor customer service and would not recommend this company at all, since they all care about is sales - which they cant even get that right.

I am very disappointed in Great Day Improvements. I had them come out to my home and give me a quote on doing a deck and screened in pouch for me. Then set up for them to do the project for me. They came out one other time to do a remeasure and then they asked for a plot plan so they could get the permits and after I sent in the plot plan they told me that the city would not take them. Would not recommend this group. Didn't show up on the date of install and I had to reach out and the next day get an email they would be there the following date. (For the money we pay wouldn't you think a call would have been nice) of course that day came and went. When they did show up, they worked maybe a total of 6 hours between both days to tell me it didn't fit and would have to reorder. They left metal shaving all over our driveway and patio which caused issues with our dogs and cats getting them in their paws. Never ... read more
