The final sunroom product is fine, but the experience did not make us feel liked valued customers. The project took 12 months to completion from contract signing in part due to issues with the existing site. Communication from the regional office was **** and sporadic without giving us much context for what was going on. Have had a bad experience with the construction manager. We were told we would be completely satisfied or it would be made right. Once enclosure was completed we realized the the huge double opening we wanted was hindered by a metal strip in the middle and that the two sliding doors had to have this piece which is not what we saw in 3-d drawing. So requested one door be replaced with a matching window that we had throughout the rest of the room. When replaced it was an odd window that didnt match the rest. The manager told u... read more
First, the regional office has been very nice, and I can't say anything negative about any of them, and I am a bit reluctant to say anything. I thought the push to get us to sign on the bottom line was a bit strong, but that's business, I guess. I think, overall, the representatives tried hard.However, there were delays and things didn't fit correctly. This is a review for the ******, ** operations of Patio Enclosures. In August 2021 they started installation of a 20' glass wall with sliding doors in our patio. Was told this would be a 2 day installation at most. It's now April of 2022 (8+ months) and still not complete. First they sent the wrong parts and installation was incomplete. 11 month wait for 1 window!!!! Every excuse in the book!!!!
Signed the contract on September 14, ********************************************************************** 18 weeks (by January 18, 2022). On September 14, 2021 one-third of the project cost was paid. On September 24, 2021, final measurements were taken for the construction of the solarium. The 1 star is just so the site allows me to leave a review. There should be no star at all for this review.They built our solarium 4 years ago. From the time they demolished our existing deck to finishing the project, we've had issues with them. Our solarium has been leaking from the start! They came twice at the beginning but the issue was not addressed. Emailed them 2 years ago, no reply. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional no communication skills and took 11 months to enclose a porch. I didn't want to leave a star rating but it is required the one I am giving is not deserved Kathy
We've spent over $50k with Great Day Improvements and were required to pay the last payment even though we still don't have a gutter on it. We keep getting told it'll eventually come but I didn't like the fact they made us pay without finishing the work. I'm not hopeful we'll see our gutter. I know it's a small thing, but I paid way too much money for not to get what I paid for.
