Sales Managers are incompetent to deal with customers I recently purchased my 2nd Nissan vehicle. My most recent purchase was 2014 Xterra - After stopping by today, I was told only 1 key was available and was sent to service department where I could purchase a 2nd key for a Ridiculous price. Secondly, my wife gets in the car as we are driving off, realized only 1/4 of tank of gas in the car. I have never purchased a car when full tank of gas was not provided. Now this is what tops it all off, I have left 2 messages with the ... read more

Worse Experience at Gwinnett Place Nissan On March 17th 2015 I went to Gwinnett Place Nissan Duluth GA, for an appointment with Clay Taylor (Salesman). I met him around 4 PM. He seemed like a nice guy and showed us a few SUV's we were looking for. We liked the Nissan Pathfinder S model. I asked for a Red color, leather seat and Rear view camera. Also, I wanted to trade in My 2008 Chevy Uplander (110K). Then they ran my credit and told me I am approved tier1 finance. At that time Sam (one of the Floor Managers) joined us with... read more

Service They have the worst customer service. My daughter came in to get a tired fixed and not only did they take forever but they took advantage by charging her an insane amount. I called to see why they had priced it so high, since the Nissan we live buy charges much lower, and the manager was extremely disrespectful and had no concern whatsoever for my question, Way overpriced, do not go here if you want a deal. I was thinking of buying a car from here but that will NEVER happen.

SELLING BAD CARS AS CERTIFIED PRE OWNED I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder from Gwinnett Place Nissan on November 17, 2014. On November 19 we noticed that the car would sputter when you tried to accelerate after placing your foot on the gas. We then took it back to Gwinnett Place Nissan on November 20 and were told that it needed a new transmission! We had just purchased this car less than a week before that. Before I purchased it I asked if there was anything wrong with the car. I asked why the car wasn't certified pre-ow... read more

Business response:

We are indeed very happy you purchased a Warranty on this Pathfinder. Everyone knows anything can go wrong; at any moment with any expensive and complicated item; such as a motor vehicle. If we could predict and know the "down-periods" of our daily lives we could all budget better. Since we can't; we can at least prepare by purchasing a warranty. Because of this warranty there was a savings of thousands of dollars. We are very happy you had the warranty and we wish you only the best.

OUT THE DOOR PRICE We were lied to. It sucks. And now there is nothing we can do. Starting tomorrow my wife and I can't drive our truck because Gwinnett Place Nissan? is the only car dealer is the US where you can negotiate an "out the door price" to include tax, title and registration, sign the papers and end up with no title or registration. On top of that, a month and 30+ phone calls later, we're STILL waiting on that extra key and remote...not holding our breath. So to all of our friends in the Atlanta area, I would HIGH... read more

Business response:

Gwinnett Place Nissan cares very much about our Customers and our business dealings. Everyone involved in the purchase of a vehicle has requirements placed upon them by the stipulations of the transaction and the States involved. We are very careful to complete every area of the transaction that is our responsibility to complete. The other tasks are items we are not allowed to complete and make this clear to our Customers during the actual purchase (paperwork) of the vehicle in the Finance office.

Never go here to buy a car... So I realized today that certain people out there will do anything to play a game with you, waste your time and see you fret over the matter. In Gotham, we have the joker. In Gwennitt, We have a dealership who sells Leaf.

Business response:

We are sorry your experience was not what you had hoped. Fully one third to almost one half of all our new vehicle sales are Leaf sales. Our Customers are very happy with the great deals they have received. At times; due to availability of model-lines, demands of the Customer and stipulations placed on us by our manufacturer and the State of Georgia; we are not able to complete every deal . . . as much as we would like to. We wish you only the best.

Nightmare --- just a nightmare Nightmare service experience. I was the dummy, had a very bad experience here 3 years ago when It cost me money to get a quote!!! But, I received an attractive offer they the mail and thought I would follow up. 2.5 hours and could not get thenm to explain the offer they mailed to me!!!

Business response:

We are sorry you did not have the experience you had hoped for. Some service issues require an investigative cost, or charge, because of the work/labor required to make the determination as to what the malfunction with your vehicle might be. We wish you only the best in the future we are sorry for any confusion.

Didn't leave with car Although the monthly payments made me happy I was really upset that I could not take my car home with me the same day because it wasn't "service ready" I did not get the full new car buying experience and I had to wait 4 days to get my car because the service shop people didn't work fast enough to give me my car ready I was unhappy about that.

Business response:

We have the responsibility to make sure to the best of our ability that everything is in the best operating condition it can be in. If this takes us some time, due to the specifics of the servicing tasks we are performing, then it just takes some time. We need to get it right. We are sorry for the extra time to make it right and we understand how you feel. It's exciting to get a new vehicle and it should be a very joyful experience. Sometimes, though, peace of mind trumps it. We appreciate you!
