HearUSA Just got off phone with HearUSA they posted on my last post "that they were sorry to hear about my experience and for me to call 855-501-1862" I called and spoke with a very nice young lady who said she was sorry but she could not help me and I ask her why would HearUSA ask me to call a number and not connect me to someone that could help me, so the post will keep being made on facebook until I find and answer as to why I am all of a sudden being charged to have hearing aids cleaned and have not been charged the l... read more
The cost of the hearing aids was way too much. They wanted me to pay $4,200.00 for hearing aids which I can't afford. It bad enough having hearing problems, but being asked to pay that much was not cool.

RecommendedThe experience at HearUSA in Mulberry, The Villages, Florida, was exceptional. However, the corporate office’s “threatening” text messages, stating they couldn’t guarantee my appointment time unless I confirmed my appointment, were unacceptable. Most other hearing aid firms would gladly welcome me to come in and spend $5400 on two pairs of hearing aids, one for my wife and one for me. I was appalled as I sat in the lobby and heard the receptionist and the lady in the front office make fun of a elderly black man who came in and said, “I need to cancel an appointment.” He was obviously very confused, had dementia or some other medical condition. The receptionist was rude and condescending and just confused him more. In addition, I waited almost 30 minutes for my appointment. Do better!

Sadly, my experience with HearUSA has been HORRIBLE. I went in recently with a pair of as-new hearing aids my wife wasn't using. For $750, the audiologist did a good job reprogramming them for my ears, but even though I BEGGED on two different occasions for her to adjust the wiring so they actually hung behind my ears rather than on top, she wouldn't. HEAR USA is much less helpful to clients than previously. HearUSA now charges for cleaning hearing aids and for adjustments. They push buying new hearing aids over checking to to see whether to adjust hearing aids. They are very pushy about new purchases, making a visit uncomfortable. I am going to Costco for a more helpful approach to customers.

I got fired from hearusa today because ghe provider they hired to help out at my location was not happy I passed my written exam and saw me as a threat to his commission. Just letting you know why I won't be in meetings anymore because I'm sure no one will tell the truth. He made a false claim against the front desk girl and got me involved and got us both fired.... be careful working for this company.
