Deep Sleep is a major problem with no simple FAQ for dealing with it Deep Sleep is clearly a major issue. Literally every time I use this stupid piece of junk I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to wake up. There is literally no button on the stupid piece of junk to wake it up. And you cannot turn off this stupid function. People on here say there is some update or setting - try and google it. No Power - power button stop working I brought my HL-L2350DW printer Nov 2020 and Aug 2021 my home printer stop working, I barely use it , just enough to use the ship ink cartridge and my new 2 months cartridge! There no power or LCD power. I try on-line trouble shooting , unplugging rebooting it . It’s a no go!
Tone low very quickly The printer is tone low after 6 months even I set the quality to draft mode. I only printed stuff occasionally. Totally disappointing. Never recommend it.
Don’t buy this Absolute worst
Worked for just over a year then quit Don't bother with this printer. In addition to constantly refusing to properly connect to WiFi it has now stopped accepting toner cartridges of any kind, rendering it completely useless. Of course it worked for just over the one year warranty period before stopping, and Brother's support website is just terrible.
Dead After 2 Years, Firmware Easily Corrupted Purchased printer 2 years ago. Now dead despite troubleshooting with tech support. If the printer loses power, there is a high chance for the firmware to become corrupted. This is a huge problem for a printer that has known issues tripping circuit breakers. If you find yourself with the display showing bars, you can try 1. Unplugging the printer. 2. Rocking the Back and Go buttons in a circular movement for a few seconds. 3. Plugging back in.
