Terrible Printer This was replacing an HP but had all kinds of issues and overall this is an awful printer. Also I found it hard to find the genuine ink only the knockoffs readily available.

Expensive polluter - guzzles toner, stops printing. Hate it. You will replace toner cartridge CONSTANTLY. Over and over. Somebody said to do something in settings where you select "continue" after getting to Replace Toner, then it keeps printing and actually use the toner that is 1000% still in the cartridge, but nope, doesn't work for us. oours that we bought in Fall 2020 doesn't offer any button that selects "continue" from that step in settings. Dead one month after return window expired This printer died one month after return window closed. Barely used brand new 1st replacement toner cartridge. For the last 15 years, always bought Brother printers. Will no longer consider Brother printers. Very disappointed. Amazon's great, as always.
Stopped working after 1 1/2 years I like the printer but it stopped working after 1 1/2 years of very light use. Warrantee is one year so I am out of luck. We have another Brother inkjet printer that has worked well for several years. Disappointing that this printer failed so soon.
Sleep mode and wireless bad The only problem I encountered is the wireless feature gets disconnected all the time and the sleep mode does not allowed me to connect the wireless. Very annoying
Impossible to get it to print I've struggled with this printer for a long time. Sometimes it just decides it doesn't want to do the only thing it can do - print in black and white. Deep sleep mode is off. It has a static IP. I've rebooted the printer and the router. I just want it to print one page of text in black and white. I will never support this company again, what a nightmare.
Wifi feature that costs extra is basically useless Its a printer that prints which is nice. However, the WIFI feature is horrendous. If my internet has even a little hiccup he printer disconnects and will not automatically reconnect. I have to input my password EVERY TIME to reconnect, which takes absolutely forever to input each character in the tiny window with an up and down arrow only. Ended up connection the printer with a USB Cable which defeats the purpose of paying extra for the wifi model.
