Difficult, disappointing, Updated I have connected a half-dozen WiFi printers with no or little problem. This make/model does not connect to the router or through direct print from a mobile device. Cheesy and simple interface on the printer makes matters more frustrating. You get what you pay for, but this one isn’t even as good as several cheap and “disposable” printers I have had. after one year, can no longer print on two sides This is my second one of these. I wore the first one out (desktop publishing service books for my parish). I've had this one for a year. It no longer prints on two sides. If you try, it starts to pull the page back in, it loses purchase one-third of the way in, stops, and then gives a media jam warning. "Hidden Defect" Very easy to trip GFCI Breakers/Circuits This printer is cheap, effective, and easy to setup. however, it has ONE MAJOR flaw. This printer EASILY trips GFCI breaker/circuits. Like literally just powering on/warming up will trip the entire room's circuit. (i've had it trip the circuit even if only the printer thing plugged in in the room.) Printer stopped working in 2 years I worked fine for few months. I also used it rarely. But suddenly one day it decided to not print even though toner was at 80%.
Dead at 14 months I leave one star reviews for products that last just outside the warranty. Product will no longer power on. Was mostly great while it lasted. The sleep mode was the biggest problem; it prevented the printer from appearing as available.
Expensive paperweight Stopped working after 5 months.
printer interface is horrible and hard to use I rarely write bad reviews for product i purchased. But for this one i have to SPEAK UP. I never had seen such bad interface for printers, not even find a place to change default trays. No way to change no matter how hard I tried, not even to mention how much time was wasted. I have used Canon printer for many years, and I have never seen such things happening. Besides I don't think it can be a great printer with such a bad interface.
No.. Just don't buy. It's difficult to set up, difficult to get printing, everything about it is difficult.
Completely dead 14 months after purchasing This printer is a complete disaster - it made it a full 14 months before it went completely dead. It was used in a home office and we printed a couple of pages maybe 3 times a month, so it was used very lightly. This morning I went to print and it was dead. No lights, no power, nothing. And yes, I tried multiple outlets and it is 100% the garbage printer. Of course, the warranty is only for 1 year, so we're two months out of luck. Buyer beware!
