Junk This is an awful printer. I wasn’t able to get help with it do to Covid and now I’m past the return date...it’s not good quality, jams often and don’t work well with my computer.
An unspeakable piece of garbage... This is possibly the worst and most infuriating printer on the market. Brother has decided to conserve energy and save the planet by having this printer to go into "deep sleep" after ~45 seconds of inactivity (and no... you can't change it in the settings). There's also no way to get it out of deep sleep except by shutting it completely off and turning it on again. So, you want to print something? Oops, your printer is MIA. Quality Very nice printer.
Decent print quality - Terrible software If you're looking for a compact printer for USB use, this is a good printer However the software is useless and WiFi software are terrible. The WiFi setup is a nightmare (I have many years of network/WiFi experiace) Sad to see that A USB cable is not provided. They *really* want you to use their APP... Yep another firm trying to get to use their APP.
Tech support $100 to help hook up chrome book Chrome book users beware! I tried to hook up this HL-l2359DW to my HP chrome book and was told there is a $100 charge for the privilege. I was talking to a foreigner and almost agree to the charge as I couldn’t understand him! Brother, you should be ashamed of yourself for this extortion!!!!
It sucks. I usually really like Brother products but this printer has given me nothing but problem after problem. 👎🏻
Barely Lasted ONE year with Minimal Use This is a basic printer that seemed like a good deal price wise but you get what you pay for. We used this printer maybe 2-3x monthly, a few pages printed here and there. It was difficult to figure out why the edges of the papers were coming out with black marks on the sides (google for answer to that) - then it just stopped working for no reason at the year mark and nobody at Brother even answers the phone.
DO NOT BUY- Died 16 days after return policy expired + poor customer service I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt obligated to spare others after my experience with this product. I purchased this wireless printer for simple print jobs when working from home. It took a bit to set up, but worked nicely with good connectivity from multiple devices once it was running. Sadly after just 3 months—-and literally 16 days after the return date passed by—-this printer simply died peacefully in its sleep never to be revived again. ... read more
A fine printer, until it broke after printing fewer than 100 pages We bought this printer in January of 2019 as a printer to have on hand for the rare instances when we needed to print something. We seldom used it, but we were happy with the printer overall. However, after printing between 50 and 100 pages, the drum (or some other component) inside the printer malfunctioned and now will not print.
