Stopped working after a year. Worked for about a year and now won’t turn on.
THE WORST!!!! DO NOT BUY When this printer actually prints your paper, the print comes out okay. HOWEVER it is super slow to print and it is CONSTANTLYYYYYY telling you to replace the drum or toner, and when you do, it continues to tell you it over, and over.... and over again and it will not accept the fact you just put a brand new cartridge in. It also tells me I'm out of toner when the ink roll is COVERED in ink and definitely not OUT of ink, but the printer will not let you bypass the ink replacement message, and it refu... read more
Can I get an exchange for the same?? I really need this. It’s was working fine until the beginning of the year. Now working from home, is not connecting to WI-fi. Delaying my work.
Complete garbage. Do not buy! We've had this printer over 6 months and it's been nothing but a headache. The wifi never worked, so we had to use a cable to print. It would never select paper from tray 2, so I'd constantly need to feed it paper manually. It jammed easily, and when it didn't, it would mistakingly report a jam. Just a loser of a printer. Looking into something else.
junk. bad customer service. work disruption. won't recognize new ink cartridge when i needed to replace ink the printer says "cannot detect" the new ink cartridge. been on the phone forever waiting for customer service. this has disrupted my entire work day. total junk.
Awful printer. Will not turn on after less than 2 years of very light use. Sat on a desk for less than 2 years with very light use. No longer functions. Customer support will not work with you. Stay away.
cartridge doesnt print even 100 pages.... after not even 100 pages total printed, the printer asked me to change the cartridge!!!! unbelievable. i am returning the printer...
Working remotely via VNC & using Mac & PC simultaneously = a no-go Doesn’t work with my work PC when remote accessed on a MacBook Pro via VNC, at least not totally. Works great on JUST the MacBook Pro. However when I remote access in using a PC, it prints everything double-sided. I spent 2 hours on with tech support only for them to tell me it’s just not compatible for this usage. Which is unfortunate, because we’re working remotely during quarantine!
The dash replenishment is impossible to set up I'm about to throw this printer out the window. I can't set up the dash replenishment thing, because the brother website is incomprehensible. I try to register the printer, but it says it's already registered. But I don't have any printers in the my printers section. SO WHERE IS IT??????? The register printer little app they give you requires a pin code, which they don't tell you how to find. So I lost about 20 minutes trying to use that thing.
