Waste This printer takes forever to download the driver setup. Then I have to keep on doing it over again because it won't scan. I just want to trash it a waste of time.
Quit working in less than 2 years Printer quit working in 20 months of light use. Got a printer error, went to the web site, did what it said and was advised that warranty is one year and would need repair. Bought it because a friend who likes cheap stuff recommended it. It was cheap. Last printer I had was an HP that lasted 15 plus years with no problem. Hate to put this in the landfill.
Not for Chromebook Printing: Does not work with Chromebook like it claims that it will. VERY disappointing.
Wireless printing. No dumb ink cartridges. I think I’m in love! I bought this printer for two reasons: 1. I wanted wireless printing from my iPhone. It has worked perfectly EVERY TIME...It fires up quickly from the other room even when it has been sitting idle for weeks. 2. I did not want to have to deal with ink. Ever. Lasted less than 7 months Had it 7 months, used it to print a few pages. Now it won’t even power on. Return window is only 30 days. Terrible.
Bricked by low toner warning. Bricked! As other reviewers have mentioned, there will come a day not long after you buy this printer where it will be bricked by a warning of low toner, even though it was printing fine right before. Seriously this is true and there is nothing you can do to reset it on this model. Brother took the choice away from their customers of replacing their toner cartridge when they please. Paper jams every time I try to print This printer conveniently quit working a week after we could return. The paper jams at the fuser every time I try to print now. Thankfully, Amazon Customer Service allowed me to return it even after the return option expired.
Very disappointed! Don't buy! We were never able to get this printer to consistently work. We tried connecting it via WiFi and via USB cable, but neither worked. Please spare yourself the time and headache and avoid this printer.
