Stopped working after a week and a half! Just got this, worked great for about a week. Needed to print an important document this morning and it won't power on. We've watched all the YouTube videos and read through the owner's manual... nothing. Of course we just threw the box away, too so returning this is going to be difficult. UGH!
Terrible wifi Terrible. After three days of troubleshooting wifi printing (the only reason I ordered this) I gave up. Sending back for a refund. Complete garbage. The instructions are not clear tech support was terrible. It’s like working with a computer product from the 90s
NOT the bomb-proof printer I was hoping for My HP laser 1020 finally died so I went looking for a replacement: one that I only needed to plug in and print out the daily grind of B&W images, saving money on my expensive color printer ink. I did not need all the bells and whistles, but thought I could use them in the future, so I took a chance. So disappointed! Keep looking Don’t waste your money. The wifi is a complicated mess and doesn’t work functionally. I’m tech savvy and this is just a disappointment.
This printer has pretty much never worked. This printer functions and technically does print. But it prints every page with a giant black streak of ink down the side. Waste of money.
HORRIBLE This printer sucks. I've had it for exactly 1 year and it's always sucked, but at least it kind of worked. Now it's just broken. Right after warranty expires. SCAM. SCAM PRINTER!! DO NOT BUY!! So, this printer is garbage for a couple of reasons. Printer Review I would never buy this product again...or the brand. I am no techie by any stretch . However, this is not user friendly. I've tried the video's going on line to sort it out...I've had it at least a week and I still do not have it working. Also in the directions it calls out go to 6 and scroll down and do this ...blah blah blah...and nothing is numbered on the unit!l Right now I am so frustrated I'm about to toss it over the balcony! Quit after one year and hard to use This printer quit in a little over one year (i.e. just past warranty). It was also a pain to set up and when connected over wifi it occasionally failed to connect to the computer.
Was fine while it worked This printer worked well for few weeks. For context, I used it with a Mac desktop that's about three years old. After a few weeks, I started to have trouble with it dropping into Deep Sleep and not waking up. I constantly had to reconnect it to my wireless network. Then one day it just completely stopped working. It just wouldn't power on at all. I've contacted Brother and I hope they make good on this because I have had this printer for less than a year and it only worked properly for a few weeks.
