Be A Setup Wizard Or Don't Purchase I have this fine looking $100+ piece of machinery (thus the 2nd star) just taking up space on my desk here having never printed a single page. I have now bought a Mac friendly USB cord to see if it will be possible to actually get the printer set up properly if it is physically connected to my mac, but this has been hours and hours of an absolute nightmare. Printer won't turn on after 1 month of usage Before you downvote this review, please understand that I have tried EVERY single method to try to get this to turn on. I had this printer for about a month, probably printed about 6 pages since I've owned it, and now the thing won't turn on at all. It's not the socket. NOTHING was spilled on it. No paper jam. WiFi setup near impossible. Shouldn’t be that difficult Almost impossible to connect to our Wifi. Wasn’t worth the effort
Printer works how it's supposed to Big difference from ink printers. Speed and accuracy in printing for home use. Use it to print from computers, phones. Never used tech support.
READ BEFORE YOU BUY-IT WILL GIVE OUT ON YOU After a year of operating with middling success, this printer now completely refuses to turn on. As I am just 4 months past the warranty, it seems there is nothing I can do to remedy this situation.
Good quality but doesn’t wake up I was so sick of changing ink cartridges that I purchased this LaserJet printer. The only thing is it does not wake up from a deep sleep when you go to print. So you have to remember to turn it off, and then turn it back on immediately before you print.
Hate it! Took a long time and numerous people (with lots of printer set up experience) to get this set up and working. Did not communicate well with my printer. I purposely purchased a printer cord because I didn't want to have to use WiFi connectivity. But it seems to only want to use the WiFi even with the cord. Can't seem to figure out how to use it with the paper drawer; once in a while I can get it to work one page at a time. But when WiFi is not working, printer is not working. Wish I had not purchased this.
Expensive and error prone. I've had two of these printers; both broke just beyond the 1 year mark. Also, the cartridges deplete quickly and are expensive. Disappointing, since brother had a reputation for quality.
Roller needs replacement after less than a year of gentle use I was initially impressed with this machine. Setup was easy and it produced output that was faster and crisper than my old ink-jet. I would have highly recommended it but then....it started leaving spots of toner on the edge. Customer service worked hard to solve the issue but in the end they said it was a bad 'roller' and that i needed a new one.
